Entertainment with festive season in mind

Excel World will be celebrating the forthcoming Christmas season under the theme of "White Christmas''. The main attractions will be the entertainment activities coupled with snow fall which will be held at the "Dome'' which could cater to over 500 people. This year we have added new features in our entertainment program to create differentiation to the previous shows said, C.E.O of Excel World Ravi Wijenathan .

Many special segments have been lined up this year including cartoon characters, clowns etc to entertain the kids. The theme of this year is based on a novel concept and the organizers expect to create a true winter surrounding which can hardly be experienced in Sri Lanka.

The snow show is being conducted from 9th December 2006' up to 7th January 2007' keeping the school holidays and the festive season in mind. The show times are scheduled, Monday to Thursday 3 shows commencing 6.30 p.m., 8.00 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.

Friday to Sunday there will be 4 shows commencing 6p.m, 7.30pm, 9.00pm, and 10.30pm. In addition to the Snow Show, Excel World will be transformed in to an area bubbling with fun- filled activities such as DJ music, Live bands, concerts, karaoke competitions, films shows and amusement to children with magic shows all happening at the Avenue food court stage free of charge.
