MR recently graced a birthday party of one of his C-Pack members. The birthday boy was none other than his namesake Samara Lion from Kalutara.Several Western Deep Low Mats were enjoying cigarettes at a corner until the arrival of the big man. As MR walked in, the Deep Low Mats walked up to him and said: "Hope we wont get fined for smoking". Yes! Mathata Thitha under MR's rule.

Eating humble pie

A retired Government servant in a foreign-type Ministry was making his own predictions before this week's Galle Summit. He was of the view that the Door Nors would not make big grants to Government, perhaps to satisfy his superior at the Ministry. But this old man had to eat humble pie after the Door Nors pledged an unprecedented USD 4.5 million to back MR's economic Action plan.

Psychological campaign

Vaj Abey of Un-united green type is busy with a different type of campaign after 18 colleagues crossed over to support MR last week. Left with limited options, Abey has now been entrusted with a special campaign through astrologers and get them to make false predictions that the Government is going to collapse soon, thereby launching a psychological campaign. Oh dear, what else could the poor greens do?

Misleading acts

The big scribe at the Miss Leading from behind continues to mind only others' businesses. This time he has played a proof reader's job to the one that Observes and the News that comes Daily. He has nothing else to do but unsuccessfully to take on that smart big man at the News that comes Daily. But the poor Miss Leading from Behind big head does not know he is under a microscope. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones!

Ignored

The new big boss for the Sporting type after Sunday's reshuffle, Big House was the chief guest at the Nationals of the ring sport. Respected Di Go, the ring sport chief, was seated next to Big House. When Di Go left his seat for a moment, the Eye Prince who chairs the Stadium, crashed in and sat there. Though Eye Prince tried every possible means to get close to Big House, the Sporting head just ignored. With no Silver Screen behind, Poor Eye Prince is set to lose his job soon.
