This years SLAHAB Hair and Beauty Fair held recently at the Galadari Hotel showed the fast growing relationship between hair and make-up with dress trends and fashion.

A set of leading designers and institutes showed a variety of creations throughout one dayout of the four days that the event took place, attracting a full house right throughout.

Leading Kirthi Sri Karunaratne, Yolande Aluvihare, Brian Kerkoven, Purnima Abeyratne, Dhammika Amarasekara and Ruchira Silva together with Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology (LIFT) and students following the degree programme in Fashion Design and Product Development at the University of Morotuwa, presented collections that were unique and kept audiences enthralled throughout that day.

The hair beauty and fashion extravaganza was choreographed by Lou Ching Wong.
