Pentathlon Swimming meet March 22 to 24

SWIMMING: The National Pentathlon Swimming Championships conducted by the Interim Committee of the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union to be held from March 22 to 24 at the Sugathadasa Stadium swimming pool.

The meet starts at 1 p.m. each day. According to present form, swimmers from Kandy-Trinity College and Mahamaya College the undisputed boys and girls champions go out firm favourites for top honours.

However, Swimmers from Ananda, St. Joseph's College, Royal, S. Thomas' College, in the boys and Hillwood College, Kandy, Ladies College, Musaeus College, Asian International School among the girls are bound to offer stiff opposition to Trinity and Mahamaya swimmers.
