Dialog pre-paid subscribers can obtain an insurance cover by registering at a retail outlet and opt for cover from three premia ranging from Rs. 5 to Rs. 20 per month.

Dialog Telekom CEO, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya said affordability and accessibility are key components that consumers look for in any product.

Innovations and value additions in the mobile telephone industry will help a wider sector to make optimum use of insurance.

Today consumers are mobile and they expect quick solutions to their problems. Insurance through mobile phones will help consumers who are on the move to call for assistance without difficulty, Dr. Wijayasuriya said.
