PC Partner reinforces its leadership in the computer retail market
PC Partner, a SBU of the well-diversified PCH Holdings that deals in
computer hardware and software, office automation equipment, restaurant,
pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, consumer electronics, audio
visual and event productions, international operations, automobiles and
property development, has strengthened its position in the computer
retail market with the expansion of their retail arm, PC Partner
outlets.
PC Partner outlets are the one stop shop boutiques for items such as
Notebook computers, PCs, computer peripherals, accessories, server
systems, network and communications devices, Office Automation
equipment, optical devices and storage devices.
The eight-year-old company PC Partner has increased its presence up
to 15 locations in Colombo and the suburbs.
Inline with this they recently opened its IT Zone operation, entering
into strategic partnerships with retails giants such as Arpico
Supercentres and Keells Supermarkets. In addition they also have a
partnership agreement with Dialog Telekom to provide Internet
connectivity to their customers.
As the foremost supplier of computers and related accessories to the
local market PC Partner has become the preferred supplier to many MNCs,
NGOs and Government sector organisations.
General Manager of PC Partner Ravindra Jayasinghe said, "There is an
exponential growth in the IT industry in Sri Lanka and we have witnessed
a similar growth in PC ownership as well.
To facilitate this expanding market, we have improved our
distribution channels with short lead times between order placing and
delivery and introduced easy payment plans with banks such as HSBC, HNB,
ICICI, Seylan and AmEx Credit cards.
Since we are dealing with all kinds of computer peripherals and

Optoma, Kyocera and PCH Holdings' flagship brand ISO certified Panora,
customers can choose from a variety of genuine products. In addition to
these we are re-sellers for many other International brands such as Dell
and Sony."
Talking about their unique competencies in this closely fought
market, Jayasinghe said that their main focus is to give a superior
customer service coupled with enhanced and upgraded service contracts,

pre-sales points to after sales service points by adopting the latest

According to Jayasinghe, PC Assembly under the technical unit under
the technical division assembles well over 1200 PC's every month.
