UltraTech Ceylinco Cement receives ISO certification

UltraTech Ceylinco cement company, received the ISO 14001:2004 certification for Environmental Management System from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution(SLSI).


SLSI chairman Dr. A. R. L. Wijesekera presents the certificate to chief executive of UltraTech Ceylinco Cement Kiran Redkar.

SLSI Chairman, Dr. A. R. L. Wijesekera presented the certificate to chief executive of UltraTech Ceylinco Cement, Kiran Redkar, at a function at the SLSI auditorium.

UltraTech Ceylinco cement company had also received the ISO certification from SLSI for Quality Management System in 2003. The company's product UltraTech Ceylinco Cement bears the SLS 107 mark and has secured a nationwide reputation for strength and consistent quality.

UltraTech Ceylinco (Pvt) Ltd., is a joint venture company of the Aditya Birla Group of India and Ceylinco Consolidated of Sri Lanka. The Group is an Indian multinational having manufacturing and commercial bases in 20 countries and manpower strength of one lakh belonging to 25 nationalities.

Aditya birla Group is in the league of fortune 500 companies, and enjoys the top ten positions globally in many businesses such as Aluminium, Viscous staple fibre, insulators and carbon black.
