Five LTTE terrorists killed in Muhamalai

Five LTTE cardres were reported killed when Security Forces retaliated when a group of LTTE terrorists who launched a mortar attac on troops in Muhamalai on Friday.

Two injured soldiers were rushed to Palaly Hospital, reports stated.

Meanwhile, a security guards of the People's Bank branch at the Jaffna University was shot dead on Friday (23), security sources said.

The victim has been identified as Kandavaram Kadjisan (25) from Kalaweddi East.

The Police was conducting investigations (DY).
