Tropical gets green light for Passikudah hotel

Tropical Hotel Collection is fast forwarding its Tropical Fronds Beach Hotel, a BOI project to be opened in Passikudah by the end of this year with the recent approval granted by the Cabinet sub committee Presided over by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Training facilities for area residents in collaboration with the Ceylon Hotel School, ethnic health food, Mini organic farm and employment for refugees, disabled and area housewives, Ayurveda will be features of yet another concept by Hotelier Prasanna W. Jayewardene with 40 years' experience in the industry both nationally and in 10 countries.

The Hotel will be an ecosystem, which will be a new form of sustainable tourism.
