Peradeniya Hospital issues resolved

Deputy Director, Peradeniya Hospital, Dr. Luxman Siyabalagoda said that all issues pertaining to rooms have been settled and operations will commence today at the Peradeniya Hospital.

Operations for victims of accidents will commence today and the regular operations will commence tomorrow, he said. Dr. Nandana Jayatileka of the Peradeniya Hospital said that all parties came to an understanding on accepting the rooms offered by the administration.

The nursing staff of Peradeniya Hospital struck work on January 26 claiming a room in the main surgical section.
