Keep guessing
Ever been in this kind of complicated situation? One of your friends
is a boy. In December there was a rumour flying around that you fancied
him. You did not, and you denied it totally.

Now, of course you DO fancy him! What can you do? According to an
article in the Time Magazine if you write about your problem to an Agony
Aunt she would probably say "What a clever strategy you use to attract
men! You are way ahead of the game and should have him wrapped around
your finger in no time.
Or you could turn to Dorothy Dix who says on pages 86-87 in her book
How to Win and Hold a Husband exactly what to do. "Don't chase men.
Make them chase you. Don't telephone men and ask them why they
haven't been to see you. Make them feel that it is a favour when you
answer their telephone calls. Don't write three emails to his one. Be so
long answering him that you will have him guessing whether you have
developed typing paralysis.
Don't forget that boys can no more have a good time without girls
than girls can without boys, and that if girls would hold off more men
would come on more. Nothing interests a man more than to ascertain why a
girl is not interested in him". |
