Four Lankan referees in ISTF panel

SEPAKTAKRAW: For the first time in the history of the Amateur Sepaktakraw Association of Sri Lanka (STASL), four referees have been included into the International Panel of the International Sepaktakraw Federation (ISTF). They are M. N. Sedar, L. K. G. D. Priyakantha, M. A. Ahamath and M. Priyantha who were upgraded and fine tuned by the Technical Committee of the STASL.

They will be attending an orientation programme in Thailand very soon organised by the Sepaktakraw Association of Thailand for one week where they will officiate at top grade matches in the Thai Senior League Championships.

The Secretary of the STASL, Adrian Wickremaratne, said that the four referees were all past players who have represent the STASL teams for several years and are yet in the national pool, hailing from Hatton, Piliyandala, Maharagama and Colombo.
