Talks on Lanka - Pakistan trade

Minister of Export Development and International Trade Prof. G. L. Peiris, held discussions with Minister for Commerce in the new Government of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

The discussions, on the sidelines of the 12th UNCTAD Ministerial Meeting in Accra, Ghana, were on the subject of the Free Trade Agreement between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, the ongoing negotiations with regard to a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), and other matters relating to trade between the two countries.

Secretary to the Ministry of Export Development and International Trade S. Ranugge also participated.
