First Sinhala organisation in France elects office-bearers

The organisation which was set up in Paris in 1983 has appointed their new office-bearers for this year on January 20.

At the general meeting convened on this day the following office-bearers were appointed: Chairman: Ajith Ranasinghe, Chief Secretary: Jayaratne Yatawara, Treasurer: Nanda Ramanayake.

The following appointments were also made on this day :Deputy Chairman: Ranjith Kulatunge and Deputy Treasurer: Claude Jayasekera.

Following office-bearers were also appointed: Nandana Kumarasinghe, Daya Liyanarachchi, Dayananda Hewawitharne and Senath Elvitigala.

V. G. W. Bandaranayake will continue in his official capacity as the Sri Lankan delegate of the Sinhala Cultural Organisation.
