Falls from grace

Ra-Blue's unsuccessful Eastern polls campaign came to an abrupt end with an inauspicious fall from an election stage. He was all excited after the fall which injured his index finger. It was Walapane Renu who scored after the Ampara debacle when she gave first aid to the 'fallen' leader.

Wattala discussion

Ra-Blue and his Elephant Party confidants spent time on election eve at a star hotel in Wattala. They discussed various post election tactics that should be adopted and how effectively they could put the blame on the G-ment when the greens suffer for the 17th consecutive time, Though Ra-Blue left the hotel by midnight, a few drunken Em Pees spent the night there.

Kind-Leader's advise

Sun Kind-Leader phoned some of his media friends from the hotel in Wattala. On the pretext that he is calling from Ampara, Kind-Leader advised his friendly scribes not to put the blame on the Tigers but to put the blame on the G-ment and focus that the ruling types are responsible for all incidents there.

Political somersault

Three provincial leaders of the Elephant Party, who are confident of securing the top most slots in the preferential battle to secure seats in the EPC have already held a secret discussion with a top ruling party politician. On their election as members of the EPC, the trio plans to perform a political somersault.

No salaries

Though Tea-Run the Potato has been paying his scribes' salaries at the Sunday that is sub-standard by the 8th of every month, he has so far failed pay their salaries for April. The poor scribes are in the doldrums. Neither Tea-Run nor his Finance Director even entertained their grievances over the phone.

Election struggle

The Bell Boys had one of their worst election campaigns in the East. In the absence of Hero-one-sa, there was no glamour or attraction as Some, the One-sa made desperate attempts to keep the morale of the Bell boys high. The Bell party was in total disarray as Some is struggling for survival.
