The annual cricket match between two cities, Tucsan and Phoenix, of State of Arizona, USA was played at the Sun Ray ground, phoenix, recently for the Prof. Quintus Fernando memorial trophy. The emerging winners were the Phoenix Cricket Club. The wining team: from left: Prabhu Sivaraja, Chrishan Perera, Samantha Edirisooriya, Kasun Perera, Sujeewa Randeniya, Dumindu Herath, Hima Yapa (Capt.), Henry de Mel, Dharshan Dias, Rohan Alahakoon, Laki de Mel, Harshana Sivananthan, Beshan Kulapala. Man of the match for the Saravanamuththu Kumaraswamy trophy was won by Samantha Edirisooriya for his 57 runs and 3 wickets. The awards were presented by Sri Lanka national cricketer, Malinga Bandara who was the chief guest.
