National Agribusiness Awards 2008

The National Agribusiness Awards in recognition for performance and contribution by the formal business sector towards the development of agribusiness in Sri Lanka will be held in August.

The awards will consist of sector based awards grouped Small, Medium and Large Category while segmented into the sectors of Input supply, Service, Production, Processing and Marketing. The selection will be based on Business overview, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Social impact and Sector Specific performance.

Two National icon awards will be given to personalities who have made lasting contributions to the sector while a young innovator award will also be offered.

Applications will evaluated by a panel of agriculturalists from the private and public sectors. Application forms are available at the Secretariat of the National Agribusiness Council and could be downloaded from the website; www.agrolanka.net
