Dear lovers,

Take a leap of faith!

I never knew that my morning ‘Ice coffee’ could influence my relationship so much, until very recently. It was a very simple incident which happened in my love life, but made a whale of a difference to our relationship. So this week I thought of sharing it with all the lovers to show how simply simple ways could charm your lover in real life.

I was having a terrible cough for almost three weeks and well of course the reason way I never got cured was my own fault. I have this awful habit of drinking chilled beverages and that has been the reason for my sufferings for so many years.

The second bad habit is that even when I’m seriously ill I do not miss my morning and evening baths. I remember once I had to be hospitalised because of this stubbornness but then even until quite recently that I was not able to give up these two habits.

One morning, because my cough became worse my lover made a polite request for me to skip the ‘ice coffee’ for that morning. Well, for the first time ever, in my life, I skipped the coffee.

I wasn’t too sure the exact reason why I did so at that time, but in a few seconds I did realise that it was all because of the love and concern he showed me. And the second best part of it was that he thanked me for taking care of myself for him, whereas I should have been the one to thank him.

On the same afternoon my friend and I went out for lunch and invariably a cool drink was part of the menu. All my friends had tried many times to stop this, especially the friend who was with me for lunch that particular day, but had failed every time she tried.

I asked the waitress to bring me a glass of lukewarm water and from my friend’s expression, I saw how surprised she was to hear those words from me. All she said was “you really love him, girl”.

Dear lovers, when you learn to appreciate even small things in what your partner does, he or she would do loads of stuff in return to keep you happy. Most of the lovers think to impress each other that they should do extraordinary things. Well, I think in a mature love it should be the other way round. So why not take a leap of faith in your partner? Oh, by the way it’s not the ice coffee after all....
