Hutch user identification cards for subscribers

Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. (HTLL) said that arrangements are being made to issue Subscriber Identification cards with immediate effect.

This is in keeping with the government's recent national security requirements which will be implemented by all operators.

HTLL will provide an opportunity for all its subscribers to register and update their relevant personal information to issue certificates of ownership.

This document will serve as identification until the company mails a permanent plastic card to all its subscribers.

The Company intends using its widespread retail distributor network in reaching its subscribers.

Any outlet that sells "top up" and "reload" for Hutch will carry registration forms where current Hutch users could update their personal information and obtain a temporary "proof of ownership" document.
