NSB, NDB Bank join Lanka Bell's payment network
Subscribers of telecom giant have more than 1,800 options for bill
settlement.
Two more banking groups have joined Lanka Bell's extensive bill
settlement network, giving subscribers of the Sri Lankan
telecommunications giant another 170 outlets at which they may pay their
monthly bills.
The addition of the National Savings Bank's 131 branches and NDB
Bank's 40 branches to the network takes the number of locations at which
Lanka Bell bills may be settled to more than 1,866, the company said
this week.
Eleven banking groups with a combined network of nearly 1,800
branches and service points offer Lanka Bell bill settlement options, in
addition to the company's own network of 60 branches and a dedicated
counter at Apollo Hospital.
The importance of enhancing customer convenience is ever increasing
as transport costs escalate and time for errands diminishes, said Lanka
Bell Managing Director Prasad Samarasinghe.
In this context, the addition of NSB and NDB Bank to the network is
most welcome, and would be greatly appreciated by our subscribers." |
