Lanka still in the game, says Mahela

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardena believes that his team is still in the game although India have buildup a decent overall lead of 237 runs after the third day of the second Test match which was continued at the Galle International Stadium yesterday.

Jayawardena noted that the match is now almost even and capturing the key wickets of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar turned out to be a crucial factor of the day. Even then Jayawardena gave full credit to Harbhajan Singh who bowled splendidly to return outstanding figures of six wickets for 102 runs.

The Sri Lankan captain noted that still they have a tough task ahead of them and the first job will be to create some pressure and pick up a couple of early wickets when play resumes on Sunday. Jayawardena said that the teams attitude is such that they are prepared to chase even a total of over 350 runs.
