SLT mobitel package for state sector employees, pensioners

STC General Trading Co. Limited together with Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom will provide an exclusive package to the State sector on the initiative of the Minister of Trade, Marketing Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs, Bandula Gunawardena.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to take a positive step towards the reduction of the cost-of-living for state sector employees and pensioners. The MoU was signed by Pradeep Gunawardene, Chairman, STC General Trading Co. Limited and Mrs. Leisha De Silva Chandrasena, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Telecom and Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel.

Minister Gunawardena said, “I commend the STC General Trading Co. Limited under the newly appointed Chariman Pradeep Gunawardena, for having so swiftly forged to bring about unparalleled benefits in mobile telephony to the State sector.”
