Work on Nugegoda flyover from Oct. 1

The government has decided to commence work on the proposed Nugegoda
Flyover on october 1, said Minister of Highways, T. B. Ekanayake.
The length of the flyover is 320 metres and 17.8 metres wide. Two
lanes will be constructed under first phase of the project completed
with in three months.
The project is estimated to cost Rs. 300 million. This flyover is
constructed under the project to build 222 bridges. The Ministry has
alsoplanned to construct flyovers in Kohuwala, Dehiwala and Rajagiriya.
