Antonians in inningswin over Vidyartha

CRICKET: St. Anthony's College, Katugastota helped by a deadly spell
of left-arm spin bowling by Adil Reyal who captured 6 for 16 off 10
overs registered their second successive outright win for the season
when they beat Vidyartha College by an innings and 33 runs at
katugastota yesterday.
Last week the Antonian beat S. Sylvester's College by 9 wickets. Thus
they appear to be a team to be watched this season.
For the Antonian's Hiran Wickremasekera scored 66 with 9 fours off 74
balls and Malinda Perera made 64 with 2 fours off 103 balls and this duo
put on 101 for the second wicket.
Vidyartha College 92 all out in 47 overs (C. Weerakoon 27, L. Herath
16, U. Wickremasinghe 12, T. Bandara 3 for 11, K. Ekanayake 2 for 31, S.
Pallihakkara 3 for 12) and 81 all out in 49.5 overs (T. Dissanayake 40,
C. Weerakoon 10, Adil Reyal 6 for 16).
St. Anthony's College 206 all out in 44.2 overs (H. Wickremasekera
66, D. Kumarsinghe 22, M. Perera 64, K. Ekanayake 16, F.S. Sithiyajaya 2
