Kaushal pilots Sri Lanka 'A' to victory
Kaushal Silva made a blistering century to pilot Sri Lanka 'A' to an
easy 81-run win over South Africa 'A' in their fourth one day
'international' against South Africa in Bloemfontein on Friday night.
Deciding to bat first in the day-night game, the visitors slumped to
65 for 3 in the 12th over before Man of the match Silva (126 of 121
balls with two sixers and 13 fours) and Thilina Kandamby (88 off 101
balls with two sixers and six boundaries) shared a commanding 210-run
partnership for the fourth wicket.The win enabled Sri Lanka 'A' to take
a winning 3-1 lead in the five-match series and today's final game would
only have an academic interest.
