Elephant Cream Soda wins 'People's FMCG - Beverage Brand of the
Year'
Elephant House 'Cream Soda' won the award for the 'People's FMCG -
Beverage Brand of the Year', for the third consecutive year, in the FMCG
category at the recent 'Power of the People Awards'.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) together
with AC Nielson, the largest consumer research company in the world, the
'Power of the People Awards' recognise and celebrate brands that are
most popular with the vast majority of the public. The results were
based on intense consumer research carried out over six months.
Head of Beverages, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC S. Srikanth said that this
was an unqualified endorsement by the people of Sri Lanka of the
undiminished popularity of the Cream Soda brand. "It is purely the
people's choice and the people's choice alone which has placed Cream
Soda and the Elephant Brand right on top for the third consecutive
occasion ahead of heavy competition", he said.
A flagship brand of the Elephant House range, Cream Soda has also
supported upcoming Sri Lankan music talent, supporting artistes such as,
Iraj, Ashanthi, Krishan, Centigrades, Sureni, Chinthy, Shihan and many
others. |
