Trinity and Mahamaya boys and girls relay champs

ATHLETICS: Trinity College, Kandy and Mahamaya College, Kandy emerged boys and girls champions at the inaugural Relay Carnival organised by the Kandy District Sports Development Foundation and held at the Bogambara Stadium last Wednesday.

Trinity College were the overall boys champions with 143 points, with Dharmaraja College in second position with 107 points and Vidyartha College third with 79 points.

Among the girls, Mahamaya College came first with 85 points, with Mowbray Girls College second with 83 points and Hillwood Girls College third with 79 points. The open events were won by St. Anthony's Girls College Sports Club (women) and Sri Lanka Army Regiment (Men).

Under-10 girls: Winners Hillwood Girls College.

Under-10 boys: Trinity College.

Under-12 girls: Mahamaya Girls College.

Under-12 boys: Trinity College.

Under-14 girls: Mahamaya Girls College.

Under-14 boys: Trinity College.

Under-16 girls: Girls High School, Kandy.

Under-16 boys: Dharmaraja College.

Under 18 girls: Mowbray Girls College, Kandy,.

Under-18 boys: Trinity College.

Under-20 girls: Mowbray Girls College, Kandy.

Under-20 boys: Vidyartha College.
