Film shooting at ungodly hour!

It was close upon 11 p.m. on Tuesday night October 28 and the residents of Mawilmada, Watapuluwa, Katugastota and Polgolla in the outskirts of Kandy had just retired to bed when they heard a loud explosion from not far away from the Polgolla dam which sent shivers in them.They expected the worst but no news was forthcoming and there was no activity or movement of vehicles or at least the siren of the ambulances, as it is usually connected with this type of incident. Inquiries from the neighbours also drew a blank.

They suspected it to be the work of some mischief maker to frighten the people of the area.But next day they found out that this explosion was the exploding of a vehicle in connection with a film which was being filmed along Katugastota - Polgolla, at an ungodly hour.
