Car-Beer's loyalty
Car-Beer Harsh-im made a big hue and cry on the economic policies of
the governing types and Bud-Jet proposals. But when MR came to the House
of Diyawanna to present the 2009 Bud-Jet, Harsh-im was charmed. He stood
close to MR in every discussion during the break and showed extreme
loyalty. Beware Greens!
Ra-Blue's fantasy
Ra-Blue is brushing up his knowledge in arithmetic as he is making
another desperate attempt to win the 'numbers game' at the Bud-Jet
voting. But the party intelligence reports flowing to the Lane that is
Fifth are not impressive. Ra-Blue has now added Tiger-proxy Tee-En-Ae
and Bell Party votes to his side and continues to live in a world of his
own fantasy.
Shattered dreams
Two days ago, Ra-Blue rang Soome, the One-sa to find out how the red
vote would swing during the Bud-Jet. When Soo-me said they are planning
to oppose, Ra-Blue looked jubilant. "But that does not mean we are
supporting you either. We are still with the President to eradicate
terrorism. Don't count our votes into your lot," Soome shattered
Ra-Blue's dreams.
Enough cash
Retired Big Lady summoned her staff to find out whether any of her
confidants had contributed to the begging bowl to raise funds to pay the
Rs. 3 million fine imposed by the Supreme Place for the fishy Edging
deal at Water's. On hearing that no one had contributed, the Retired Big
Lady in a rage said that she does not need any sympathy and has enough
cash to fit the bill. True enough!
Lavish spending
A rugby selector Picture-Singhe, appointed by Big-House to be the
sole selector during the Taipei tour, has demanded first class flying
with five-star accommodation. Even the Rugby Union chief prefers the
economy class on his official overseas travel to save funds but
Big-House has agreed to Picture-Singhe's request, wasting valuable
public funds.
Bud-Jet and reforms
The Green Party rebels are planning to throw their weight during the
Bud-Jet season. They have told the leader in no uncertain terms that the
Elephant Party must bring reforms before the Third Reading of the
Bud-Jet and that Ra-Blue could not fool them any more. If Ra-Blue fails
to introduce reforms, Johnny Boy and his team may abstain for voting.
