In her elegant photo-art diary graphic artist and photographer Nisansala Karunarathne shares with us, her explorations and experiences in visual formations about the existence, life experiences, characters, thinking patterns of our people.... natural beauty of our land, great heritage and the Sri Lankan culture. The diary consists of a magnificent collection of colour photos compiled over three years by Nisansala who has travelled extensively across the island in search of tranquillity and harmony of the wonderful isle. 'Optimism' seems to be her theme. Nisansala received her BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from San Jose State University, California.
