Indoor and outdoor Games figure prominently at PSSC, Kandy celebrations

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS: The Public Service Sports Club (PSSC), Kandy is celebrating its 62nd anniversary this year and to celebrate the occasion the club has organised indoor games, like Billiards, Snooker, Carrom and Bridge tournaments. Outdoor sports have not been forgotten and Cricket, Soccer and Walking Races have been planned for the members. There are over 200 members.

The Walking Races will be held for those under 60 years, over 60 years, over 62 years, over 64 years, over 66 years, over 68 years, 70 years and over 70 years.

The indoor games will be held at the club house while the outdoor games will be held at the Police Grounds, Kandy.

Sports Secretary Subash Deshapriya said that the awards ceremony for the winners will be held on December 27 from 5 p.m. onwards under the patronage of the Senior Vice-President Jagath Kulatunge - the former Registrar University of Peradeniya. The club night will follow the awards ceremony.
