Favourite Holidays - sales agent for Jazeera Airways
by Lalin FERNANDOPULLE
The Kuwait and Dubai based low-fares carrier Jazeera Airways
appointed Favourite Holidays as their sales agent in Sri Lanka.
Following its launch in 2005 as the Middle East's first privately
owned airline, Jazeera Airways has grown rapidly to become one of the
most profitable low-fares carriers in the world.
Director/CEO of Favourite Holidays, Denham Schokman said the company
is proud to be at the forefront of creating a market for Jazeera Airways
in Sri Lanka.
"Given the extensive route network of the airline and the increasing
traffic to the Middle East the timing couldn't have been more perfect
for Jazeera to choose Sri Lanka", Schokman said. The airline's current
fleet has eight modern Airbus A320 aircraft flying to 27 destinations in
the Middle East, North Africa, Iran and India through the two main hubs
in Kuwait and Dubai. The airline has ordered 32 additional A320 aircraft
and is set to become the largest A320 operator in the Middle East when
it takes full delivery in 2014.
All aircraft are fitted with the airline's signature leather seating
and its Jazeera Plus (+) cabin configuration, which offer high standards
of comfort and inflight amenities to discerning business travellers. |
