Census of N/E Tamils today

A census of Tamil citizens from North and the East residing in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara in the Western Province since 2003, will be conducted by the police today.

According to the police media division, the residents have been requested to register the details of their stay in the Western Province at the police stations in the respective ares. The registration will commence at 8 a.m. and continue till 6 p.m. today according to police sources.
