Infomate recommended for ISO 27001

InfoMate Private Limited, a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, was recommended for ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification on 31 January. InfoMate is a Business Process Outsourcing company which provides accounting and payroll services.

The recommendation for ISO 27001 was made after a audit conducted by TUV SUD, South Asia, one of the world's leading providers of services related to technical safety, reported to be the most stringent certifying body for ISO 27001.

InfoMate is the second BPO in Sri Lanka to be recommended for this certification.

InfoMate Private Limited was incorporated in 2005 as a captive finance and accounting service provider for the John Keells Group with a vision to centralise accounting, payroll and some of the HR functions facilitating the introduction of accounting and SAP best practices; harmonisation of processes across multiple business corporate governance, improved controls and optimised efficiency. Located in the heart of Colombo, the company has a state of the art facility equipped in line with the best BPO standards and includes ergonomic work stations, fire safety, access control, redundancy, back up power supply, and a disaster recovery site.
