Training for advertising professionals
The Sri Lanka Professional Advertising and Creativity School (SPAACS),
continues their line of successful specialised sessions in February and
March with three more workshops focusing on English Copywriting, Public
Relations and Media Management.
The course on English Copywriting will be conducted by Rajiv
Wirasinha, on March 14. Rajiv currently functions as a Partner/Director
at Heensare and has been in such agencies as Grants, JWT, Lintas and
Phoenix . The session will focus on bringing the idea to life through
language.
The specialized session on Public Relations will be conducted by
Jayantha Sittampalam, Managing Director, Cameron Pale and Medina on
March 7. There will also be a specialized session on Media which focuses
on the Sri Lankan Media Scene, Media Planning, Buying and Evaluation on
March 21.
As the leading academy solely dedicated to the field of advertising,
SPAACS focuses on training a new generation in the basics of the
industry through a course titled "An Introduction to Advertising".
Seeing the success rate and demand for this course that is already
running well into its third batch, there will be a new weekend batch
launched in "An Introduction to Advertising" on February 28, while the
weekday batch will start on March 24. Registration has commenced for the
daytime batch as well as the evening batch of the course created
especially for those who aspire to be in Client Servicing (Account
Management) titled "A-Z in Client Servicing" will also be started on
March 2.
With many more courses in development, specialised sessions at SPAACS
will help advertising professionals and those in related fields like
marketing, media and public relations around the country fine tune their
skills.
