A milestone event organised to mark International Women’s Day by
highlighting the importance of women in society. The event will be three
full days of entertainment and activity and trade stalls to mark Woman’s
World 2009.

Ranaviru Fund Raising Event
A Ranaviru Fund Raising Event which commenced on February 11 is on

donating for the Ranavuiru Fund at www.ranavirufund.org.
The “Ranaviru Fund” was established in May 2008 to support disabled
and wounded soldiers by providing Medical & Rehabilitation aid.
They have reached Phase-3 of the project now and are aiming to
provide more life saving medical equipment & rehabilitation support for
the wounded and disabled soldiers.
The authenticity of the project can be verified with the Director of
Rehabilitation, Sri Lanka Army based at the “Ranaviru Sevana”, Ragama,
Sri Lanka.
