Brazil's envoy and NGJA Chief hold talks

Brazil's Ambassador in Sri Lanka Pedro Henrique Lopez Borio and Sri Lanka's National Gem and Jewellery Authority CEO and Chairman Hasitha Tillekeratne on February 18 had discussions on the need for cooperation between the two countries relating to Brazil's gem industry.

An agreement was reached on exporting (a) Sri Lanka's precious stones to Brazil where semi-precious stones abound (b) Brazil's participation in the Sri Lanka exhibition 'Facets Sri Lanka' and (c) participation in Brazil's gem exhibitions.
