Country Roads XVII
The time has come around for you to don your favourite cowboy suit
and hat to be part of the Country and Western fiesta organised by the
Country Music Foundation (CME). The ever popular Country Roads concert
will happen on Sunday March 29 at the Dutch Burgher Union (DBU) at Reid
Avenue, from 4.30 p.m. onwards.
This is the 17th instalment of Country Roads and for the first time
its going to be an open-air acoustic concert and jamboree.
At the media briefing CMF revealed that the participants will be
Astrid Brook from USA, Rienzie Perera and Flame, Shehan Perera and Anno
Domini, Tyronne Peiris and Cosmic Rays and of course the popular
Mariazelle who has always been synonymous with Country and Western
Music. The CMF President Feizal Samath too will be on stage to sing his
favourite country songs.
