You may be wondering what happened to Bathiya ‘N Santhush? We don’t see them frequently on our stages now. That’s because the whole group is on a four city concert tour of Australia and as we understand won’t be back home till the end of April.

Bathiya, Santhush, Ashanthi, Randhir and Umara are wowing the audiences with their sparkling originals that are the rage not only in Sri Lanka but also globally. Their four city tour kicked off in Brisbane on Friday, April 10.

Subsequently they were scheduled to perform in Sydney on April 16 and after that performance they were to be off to Melbourne for their concerts and then to Perth for the last leg of their tour.

The grapevine tells us that so far their concerts have been big draws with not only the Sri Lankans and Australians in these cities but also with the other ethnic groups domiciled in Australia.

Umara is new to the Australian scene and she has succeeded in creating a fan base for herself. As for the other four Bathiya, Santhush, Ashanthi and Randhir their popularity is a sealed factor.
