Amunugama at IMF consultation meeting

Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs and Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama will represent President Mahinda Rajapaksa at a top level meeting to be held in London this week.

This meeting is organised by the UK Government as a consultation among selected developing countries regarding the global economic crisis and the efforts made by IMF to assist countries affected. It is a preliminary meeting for the G20 Ministers gathering which will take place in London next month. This meeting will be chaired by Gordon Brown Prime Minister of UK.
