Special budget pack at Rs. 490

A special budget pack which includes 1 kilo of rice, dhal, sugar each, a tin of canned fish and 500 grams of gram, priced at Rs. 490 will be available at Laksathosa, Coop cities, cooperative shops and Special Economic Centres said Trade, Marketing Development Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardena.

He said that its market value is Rs. 765. It was introduced by the State Trading Corporation for the forthcoming festive season, at a special price of Rs. 490 to control the blackmarket, he said. (LSAW)
