"Ranil goes for untested captain"

The plight of the UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is as one reduced to the position of a 12th man having failed to get even the 11th position.

He has abdicated his captaincy to one who has never handled a bat or a ball and he is now seen running to the middle with water and a towel in hand to quench the thirst of an untested captain called Sarath Fonseka.
