Sampath Bank beat DFCC Bank by 69 points to 63 in the Delmage Super League "A" Division Basketball tournament final played at Otters courts on Friday.

At half time DFCC Bank led 38 - 32 points. The high scorers for Sampath Bank BC were Mohamed Chiran (16), Virantha Bastian (14) and Chamath Danawansa (10) points. Gayan Middeniya (21), Chamath Serasinghe (17) and Fizal Mohamad (16) points made valuable contribution for the losing DFCC Bank.

DFCC Bank Basketball player Faizal Mohamad was adjudged the Best Player and Sampath Bank Virantha Bastian was the most outstanding player of the tournament.
