Punchihewa Mini Cricket Carnival Dec. 21 and 22

CRICKET: The 3rd annual Ravi Punchihewa Mini Cricket Carnival organised by the Ravi Punchihewa Cricket Academy will be worked off at the Bernard Aluwihare Stadium in Matale on December 21st and 22nd.

This Six-a-Side Cricket Carnival will be played in 4 age groups namely - under 11 (6 teams), under 13 (8 teams), under 15 (4 teams), under 17 (2 teams).

Last year, Ravi Punchihewa Cricket Academy provided 5 players for the Matale District Junior teams. A total of 144 cricketers will be seen in action in this Mini Cricket Carnival.

There will be special awards for Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Player of the Tournament for each group and also Man of the Match and Most Valuable Player of the Final.
