Leo Burnett shines at the Reggies

Leo Burnett Solutions Inc., the Sri Lankan office of the internationally acclaimed advertising agency network Leo Burnett Worldwide, walked away with an impressive number of awards at the sixth Reggie Candappa Creative Awards (RCCA) held recently.

Ranjana Amaradeva, Creative Group Head, Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. receives an award at the 6th Reggie Candappa Creative Awards.

Winning eleven awards across the categories of Print, TV and Radio, Leo Burnett struck Gold for the Most Powerful Image of the Year - Commercial, while also winning three silvers and seven bronze awards.

The campaign titled 'Bring back the child' was created via a partnership between the Government and UNICEF to prevent the recruitment of children under 18 years of age as child combatants. This campaign won many awards at the Reggie's this year, bagging a Gold for 'Best Photography - 'Most Powerful Image of the Year' as well as Silvers for 'Radio - Best Original Composition' and 'Best Photography' - 'Best Portfolio of Photography' for a Print Campaign.

In addition to the accolades gained at the Reggies, Leo Burnett has won several accolades both locally and regionally at The Chillies and The Sumathi awards as well as the Spikes Asia festival.

The recognitions received at this year's Reggie's, makes Leo Burnett the most awarded agency in the country for the sixth consecutive year. Commenting on the Agency's success, Ranil de Silva, Managing Director, LBSI said, "The Leo Burnett team's collective commitment and talent has put us at the forefront of the local advertising industry.

They have brought us recognition on an international platform as well as at every local awards event recognizing creativity.
