Fonny's new party

Fonny had met five of his old military confidants and a few classmates in different professions to discuss the formation of a separate political party. "I can't dance to the tune of the UNP and the JVP, I have my own identity and will contest the next general election under our own political party. Let all Opposition parties support us," he told the inner circle meeting.

Different versions

Fonny has mastered political gimmicks in next to no time, in pooling Ra-Blue and Soome-1-sa by presenting the parties with different versions of his agreement with Tea-n-Ae. But the actual clauses of the real agreement are totally different to what was given to the Elephant Party and Bell Party.

Kind-Siri evades

Kind-Siri cooked lame excuses to evade a live TV debate with Flowery-V on Peacock-vahini. Kind-Siri looked helpless as Flowery-V was 'armed' with all documentary proof to debate Fonny's son-in-law's controversial arms deals.

Angry Soome

The politburo of the Bell Party met behind closed doors to discuss the guarantee Fonny has given to Tea-n-Ae to re-merge the Northern and Eastern Provinces. "It is we who went to courts and obtained a ruling to demerge the two provinces. It seems that we would have to eat our own words now because of this inexperienced man," an angry Soome said.

Women's affairs

The Bell Boys have cautioned Fonny to avoid talking too much about women's rights or an "environment for women to talk freely even at midnight". "This could bounce back with your track record with woman soldiers. Better we keep women out," Anura-Prince told Fonny politely.

Dejected Sam

Wedding Sam has cut a sorry figure as he has failed miserably to attract blue stalwarts whom he expected to cross over. A dejected Sam had told Fonny that it was difficult to gain the support he anticipated from the governing figures as the Greens and the Bell Boys are in the same camp.
