Rohitha wins HR award

Coca-Cola's Rohitha Amarapala was honoured with 'Pride of HR Profession Award' at the World HRD Congress 2010. 'Award conferred for the strategic and iconic role he performed in the fraternity.

Rohitha Amarapala was recently awarded the prestigious 'Pride of HR Profession Award' which is the most prestigious HR award and the highest honour that an individual could receive for his or her contribution to the HR profession.

The World HRD Congress is a not for profit organisation, organised by Professionals with the aim of honouring highly accomplished individuals for their noteworthy achievements, services and contributions to their respective organisations in pursuing the salient concepts of Human Resource Management and Development.

With an aim to break even in HR skills excellence, the awards ceremony endeavours to bring together the best Professionals in the world under one roof so that they could gain an opportunity not only to acquire further skills to maximize competencies, but also to gain insights on how to be a more knowledgeable contributor in the organisation.
