KB’s grandson committed to people’s well-being

Politics is meant solely for the development of the country and the
well-being of the people.
We should work hard to ensure a better future for the youth, as
enunciated in the Mahinda Chintana - Idiri Dakma, said the newly elected
MP for Anuradhapura Asanka Sehan Semasingha.
He is the grandson of SLFP stalwart the late Speaker, K.B. Ratnayake.
Semasingha, a political novice holds a Master of Business
Administration degree (MBA) from the Peradeniya University.
He also holds a BA (Hons) in Commerce from the Delhi university.
He resigned his Director post from a leading International Hotel
chain in Sri Lanka to contest the 2010 general election.
