Vidura College on sports tour in India

SPORTS TOUR.... Vidura College, Colombo, will make their sports tour of India with their netball, basketball and badminton teams going on a tour of Mysore and Bangalore towards the end of this month.

The teams that will go on tour will be the netball under-15 and under-17 teams, basketball under-14 boys and badminton under-15 girls.

In the under-15 and under-17 netball tournament, the Indian teams that will participate are: St. Joseph's Girls High School, Bangalore, St. Michael's Girls School, Bangalore, Bangalore Internaitonal School, St. Patrick's Girls High School, Bangalore and St. Anthony's Girls High School, Bangalore.

In the under-15 girls badminton tournament the following schools will be seen in action, besides Vidura College, Colombo: Y.M.C.A. College of Physical Education Badminton Academy, Bangalore International School, Bangalore Badminton Academy, St. Joseph's Girls High School, Bangalore, St. Michael's Girls High School, Bangalore and St. Anthony's Girls High School, Bangalore.

In the under-14 boys basketball tournament, Vidura College will play against St. Paul's Boys High School, Bangalore, Y.M.C.A. College of Physical Education Basketball Academy, Bangalore, St. Patrick's Boys High School, Bangalore, St. Michael's Boys High School, Bangalore, St. Joseph's Boys High School, Bangalore and Bangalore International School.

Vidura College teams will leave for Bangalore on April 29 and they will return on May 5.
