Its yummy éclairs all the way
when the Goodies shop at Cinnamon Lakeside revealed their sweet
promotion for the month of May. If you missed Mother’s Day, here is your
chance to show your mother how much you love her by treating her with
lovely éclairs. Pastry Chef Jagath Wijesinghe explains that the secret
of making the right éclair is actually using the right amount of eggs in
the cream.
 “Every additional egg used to fill an éclair counts as it determines
the quality of it,” he said. Moreover, the traditional chocolate éclair
has been a firm favourite at Goodies which made Chef Jagath delve into
sweeter aspects.
“We wanted to give value for money to our customers whilst also
having a wide selection to satisfy everyone’s taste. Hence, we have a
showcase dedicated to éclairs to make everyone happy!” he said.
Asking PR Manager Coomerene Rodrigo why the éclair is nominally
priced at Rs.70, she said, “We always believed in affordable indulgences
and we want everyone to try a good éclair.”
The fact that one éclair is enough to fill your tummy with sweet
